Kidderminster Harriers move up to ninth in the Conference Premier thanks to a 2-1 victory over Welling United.

Kidderminster Harriers moved up to ninth in the Conference Premier courtesy of a 2-1 win over Welling United this evening.

Jared Hodgkiss opened the scoring for the home side on 14 minutes when he hit a shot beyond Jonathan Henly into the bottom corner.

Cheyenne Dunkley extended the advantage six minutes before half time when he headed home after a good delivery.

The visitors reduced the advantage seven minutes into the second period when Harry Beautyman converted with powerful effort after good work from Ben Jefford.

Aristide Bassele almost claimed a point for his side late on, but his effort was well saved by Kidderminster stopper Daniel Lewis.
