Kilmarnock appoint Lee Clark as manager on three-and-a-half-year deal

Kilmarnock appoint Lee Clark as their new manager on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

Kilmarnock have confirmed the appointment of Lee Clark as the club's new manager.

The former Birmingham City and Blackpool boss has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract at the Scottish Premiership side.

Lee McCulloch has been in caretaker charge since the sacking of Gary Locke following Kilmarnock's 1-0 defeat to Hamilton Academical at the end of January.

Clark has been out of work since May last year after he resigned from his position at Blackpool following their relegation from the Championship.

During his spell with the Seasiders, Clark, who was in charge of Birmingham between 2012 and 2014, won just three of the 33 games under his leadership.

Clark began his managerial career at Huddersfield Town, where he oversaw a record 43-game unbeaten league run in a regular season between 2010 and 2011.
