Konyaspor host Umraniyespor on Sunday in the Turkey Super Lig as they bid to get back to winning ways.
The visitors have endured a miserable season up until this point, and are still searching for their first win of the campaign.
Match preview
A late Francisco Calvo own goal against Galatasaray last time out denied Ilhan Palut's side the opportunity to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
In a cagey affair, Endri Cekici cancelled out Sergio Oliveira's opener, before Calvo's own goal gave Konyaspor their first defeat of the season.
It was a disappointing defeat considering how Konyaspor have flown out of the blocks this season, winning their previous four before the visit to the NEF Stadyumu prior to the international break.
The Anadolu Kartali also kept four clean sheets in those four previous victories, and coming up against a side who are still winless could be the perfect chance for them to get the defeat to Galatasaray out of the system.
Umraniyespor's first-ever season in the Super Lig is probably as tough as they imagined it would be, and their search for their first win of the 2022-23 season continues.
Recep Ucar's side have only managed to pick up two points from a possible 21, and matches do not get any easier with a trip to the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Stadium on the horizon.
One positive note for Ucar to take from his team's performances so far this season is that they have not been on the receiving end of any heavy defeats.
In fact, every game that Umraniyespor have lost has only been by a single goal - even against the likes of Galatasaray and reigning champions Trabzonspor.
Their main problem has been finding the back of the net, which can be expected of a newly-promoted side, but Ucar will know he needs his team to score more goals if they want to avoid the drop.
Team News
Konyaspor will be without Ibrahim Sehic after the 34-year-old was sent off against Galatasaray, so it looks as though Erhan Erenturk will start between the sticks here.
Palut will also have to cope without the experience of Brazilian midfielder Amilton, who has been absent since August's game against Istanbul Basaksehir.
As far as the visitors are concerned, their squad is in relatively good shape ahead of Sunday's game, with veteran goalkeeper Serkan Kirintili the only likely absentee; Orkun Ozdemir will continue to deputise.
Antonio Mrsic has come off the bench and scored in Umraniyespor's previous two games, giving his manager food for thought in the middle of the park.
Ucar may choose to shake things up in attack with Mehmet Umut Nayir yet to find the back of the net this season despite starting up front in each of the previous three outings.
Konyaspor possible starting lineup:
Erenturk; Oguz, Yazgili, Calvo, Haubert; Dikmen, Hadziahmetovic; Bytyqi, Diouf, Paz; Demir
Umraniyespor possible starting lineup:
Ozdemir; Goksu, Sacket, Glumac, Lenjani; Yilmaz; Geraldo, Mrsic, Gurbulak, Gheorghe; Bettaieb
We say: Konyaspor 2-0 Umraniyespor
Umraniyespor have not lost by more than a one-goal margain all season, but we can see that trend ending here.
Konyaspor have only conceded two goals so far, and combined with Umraniyespor's lack of prowess in front of goal, we expect the Anadolu Kartali to rediscover their attacking touch and return to winning ways.
