Simone Inzaghi: 'Filippo can still give so much'

Simone Inzaghi insists that brother Filippo can still give "so much" to the game.

Former Lazio striker Simone Inzaghi has said that brother Filippo Inzaghi can still give "so much" to the game of football.

Inzaghi, whose contract with AC Milan expires at the end of the season, is expected to be allowed to leave the club in the summer. However, Simone insists that his brother has no intention of retiring at this stage.

"Pippo is still physically fit and he can play on for a couple more years," he said.

"He's not decided on his future, but he is aware that he can still give so much to the game.

"He is grateful to the Rossoneri, but I think there is also gratitude from the club and the fans for him too."

Inzaghi has spent 11 season with Milan following his arrival from rivals Juventus.
