Saturday's Serie A predictions including Sampdoria vs. Spezia

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Sampdoria vs. Spezia.

Salernitana vs. Sassuolo (Saturday, 2.00pm)

After a run of six straight draws in Serie A, Salernitana aim to finally claim maximum points on Saturday, when they host Sassuolo at Stadio Arechi.

While the Salerno side were held by Torino last week to remain without a win since February, their in-form visitors fared better against Turin's other club - fallen giants Juventus.

We say: Salernitana 1-2 Sassuolo

There is every chance that Salernitana can finally halt their long run of draws on Saturday, but not in the manner they would wish. Sassuolo's showing against Juve demonstrated they are now a force to be reckoned with, and they can leave Salerno with all three points to continue a superb spell of form.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Lazio vs. Torino (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Serie A's form side Lazio aim to keep a lock on second place in the standings, as they welcome mid-table Torino to Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.

Ascending the table while their top-four rivals have struggled for momentum, the Biancocelesti's four-match winning run has seen them concede only one goal; meanwhile, 12th-placed Toro have taken just two points from their last four games.

We say: Lazio 1-0 Torino

Not the most prolific side in Serie A by any means, Torino will find it tough to break down a durable Lazio team with their eyes on the prize of a top-four finish. The hosts' recent run of success should continue, then, if they can find a goal from one of several possible sources.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Sampdoria vs. Spezia (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Saturday's Derby di Liguria sees Sampdoria and Spezia embroiled in a battle against the drop, and both want maximum points to help stave off demotion from Serie A.

Samp's need is more acute, as they sit bottom of the pile and some 10 points adrift of their 17th-placed visitors, meaning defeat would all but consign them to the second tier.

We say: Sampdoria 1-0 Spezia

Both among the lowest scorers in Serie A this season, Saturday's derby could go to the wire - particularly as Sampdoria and Spezia are among the three sides that have conceded the most goals during the second half.

A lapse in concentration rather than a moment of glory may see the points' destiny decided, and Samp can finally give their long-suffering fans something to cheer about.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.
