Team News: Wholesale changes for Lazio ahead of Chievo visit

Lazio are forced into making five changes to their side as they welcome Chievo to the Stadio Olimpico in Serie A.

Lazio have made five changes to their starting lineup ahead of this afternoon's Serie A clash with Chievo.

The Aquile have been suffering with a number of injury problems, with first-team regulars Stefan de Vrij, Lucas Biglia and Marco Parolo all ruled out.

It means that Diego Novaretti and Stefan Radu have been drafted into the defence, while Ogenyi Onazi and Cristian Ledesma are handed rare starts in the midfield.

Antonio Candreva is also back in the starting lineup, but there is no place in the squad for captain Stafano Mauri.

Chievo will be relying on the in-form forward duo of Sergio Pellissier and Alberto Paloschi as they look to pull off a shock at the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio: Marchetti, Basta, Novaretti, Mauricio, Radu, Onazi, Ledesma, Lulic, Candreva, Anderson, Klose

Chievo: Bizzarri, Frey, Dainelli, Cesar, Zukanovic, Schelotto, Radovanovic, Izco, Hetemaj, Paloschi, Pellissier
