Lazio deny Antonio Candreva exit talk

Lazio club president Claudio Lotito says that there has been no contact from Napoli regarding reported interest in Antonio Candreva.

Serie A side Lazio have dismissed reports that midfielder Antonio Candreva will leave the club in the summer transfer window, after Napoli emerged as leading contenders for his signature.

With reported interest also from Juventus and Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain, Claudio Lotito has confirmed that there has been no contact with the team from Naples.

"Candreva to Napoli is news to me," Lotito told Corriere dello Sport. "It's a rumour that I want to categorically deny.

"I have never spoken to Napoli club president Aurelio De Laurentiis regarding the possibility of Candreva wearing the Napoli colours next season. Candreva will not leave Lazio."

Candreva joined Lazio from Udinese in 2012.
