Norwich City and Leeds United will continue their bid for promotion to the Premier League on Sunday afternoon when they square off in the first leg of their Championship playoff semi-final.

Both sides suffered defeats on the final day of the regular season, yet were still able to finish in sixth and third place in the standings.

We say: Norwich City 1-2 Leeds United

Norwich's home form means that they are a threat to anyone, especially an out-of-form Leeds side. Nevertheless, the playoffs can sometimes be a lottery, and we feel that the visitors will find something extra in the final third to establish a lead ahead of the second leg.

West Brom vs. Southampton (Sunday, 2.15pm)

West Bromwich Albion and Southampton will continue their bid for promotion on Sunday afternoon when they square off in the first leg of the Championship playoff semi-finals.

These two teams both prevailed in their final matches of the regular campaign as they finished in fifth and fourth position in the standings respectively.

We say: West Bromwich Albion 1-1 Southampton

Southampton's tails are up after their success at Leeds and that may not bode well for West Brom. However, we feel that the Baggies will show enough fight to earn a share of the spoils, the bare minimum that they may require to stay in this tie.
