Half-Time Report: Late quick-fire double gives Leeds United lead

Two quick goals in first-half added-on time gives Leeds United a 2-0 lead against Huddersfield at the John Smith's Stadium.

Leeds United scored twice in first-half added-on time to take a 2-0 lead into the break against Huddersfield Town this afternoon.

Some good Huddersfield passing play down the left-hand side put Harry Bunn through on goal midway through the half, but the forward's strike on goal was well saved low to his left by Marco Silvestri.

The Terriers then had a free kick after Sol Bamba brought down Bunn just outside the box, but Nahki Wells could not get his curling effort on target.

Scott Wooton got lucky just before half time when he stopped a counter while already on a booking, but the referee decided to give the defender just a warning.

Leeds United then went ahead in added time as Stuart Dallas played a one-two with Chris Wood down the right-hand side and the Northern Ireland international crossed the ball to Mirko Antenucci, who tapped home from close range.

Wood made it two minutes later after a swift counter-attack from Antenucci, who went round the goalkeeper before he pulled the ball back for Lewis Cook but it eventually fell at the feet of Wood, who kept his cool to smash it into the back of the net.
