Half-Time Report: Leeds United and Brentford are goalless at half time

Brentford rue their missed chances as they remain level at 0-0 with Leeds United at Elland Road.

Leeds United and Brentford are goalless after an entertaining first half in the Championship at Elland Road.

Leeds had the first chance of the match as Charlie Taylor's cross found the head of striker Steve Morison, but his header was saved low down by David Button.

The visitors will feel that they should have taken the lead on 19 minutes as Andre Gray broke clear of the Leeds defence, but he shot straight at goalkeeper Marco Silvestri.

Midfielder Jota was then guilty on repeating the same offence as Gray as he could not beat Silvestri when he was through on goal.

Both teams kept the ball well, but clear chances were few and far between in a fluid opening 45 minutes.
