Leeds United have reportedly identified Bodo/Glimt defender Fredrik Andre Bjorkan as a potential January signing.
While Marcelo Bielsa's side have impressed on their return to the Premier League, the Argentine has been forced to contend with injury issues in defence.
However, rather than attempting to strengthen his side at centre-back, La Repubblica claims that the Yorkshire giants are in the hunt for left-back Bjorkan.
With less than a year remaining on his contract, the Norway Under-21s international is said to be attracting widespread interest.
Newcastle United, Norwich City and Sampdoria are also said to be monitoring the development of the 22-year-old, who has contributed six goals and 10 assists from 100 club appearances.
