Luke Parkin has committed his future to Leeds United by signing a new contract with the club.
The teenager, who has featured regularly for the club's academy this season, has agreed to remain at Elland Road until at least the summer of 2015.
Upon signing his deal, the striker admitted that he was keen to work his way through the ranks over the next 12 months.
"I'm delighted to have signed," he told the club's official website. "I can't wait now for next year to try and make my way in the game.
"At the minute, the first team have got some good players, so next year I'd like to try and play in the Under-21s regularly and see what happens from there."
Parkin has become the second youngster to extend their stay with Leeds in recent days following the news that Lewis Walters had put pen to paper on a deal.
