Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn has insisted that midfielder Rodolph Austin is not for sale.
The 29-year-old Jamaica international has found starting opportunities hard to come by in recent weeks at Elland Road, leading to Wigan Athletic being linked with him.
However, Redfearn told the Telegraph and Argus: "I want to try and keep our better players. We've got a young squad and the good seniors we need to keep.
"Rudy has been in the side and, for me, he is not for sale, at all costs.
"The point of the matter is if we are climbing and we are building then you keep your better players and you add better players to it."
Austin is also thought to be a target for Brighton & Hove Albion and Cardiff City.
