Uruguayan Under-20 international Felipe Avenatti may swap Ternana for Leeds United this summer, according to reports.
The 22-year-old Ternana striker has recently been linked with a move to Aston Villa as a replacement for Christian Benteke.
However, the Championship side are ready to leapfrog the Villans in the chase for Avenatti with a bid, reports Corriere dello Sport.
Avenatti was part of the Uruguay squad that finished as runners up at the Under-20 World Cup in 2013. He moved to Ternana from River Plate in 2013, and scored 13 goals in Serie B last season.
