Leeds United are reluctant to restart negotiations with Sunderland over Will Buckley unless the Premier League club change their stance over the winger's wages, according to reports.
Uwe Rosler is keen to sign another winger before the transfer window shuts, but according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the Championship side are put off by Buckley's £20,000-a-week wage demands.
However, the club are willing to make a renewed bid should Sunderland be willing to pay a percentage of his wages in a loan deal or pay off part of his contract to facilitate a move away from the Stadium of Light.
Buckley made 30 league appearances for Sunderland last season, scoring three goals, but it is believed that the winger isn't part of manager Dick Advocaat's plans in this campaign.
Leeds United will face Brentford at home after the international break.
