Half-Time Report: Leicester City in control at King Power Stadium

Leicester City lead Derby County by one goal at half time in tonight's Championship encounter at the King Power Stadium.

Ritchie de Laet has given Leicester City a one-goal lead over Derby County at half time in tonight's Championship clash at the King Power Stadium.

Matt James should have opened the scoring in the 11th minute when Lee Grant parried Lloyd Dyer's shot into his path, but the midfielder shot wide of the target with an open goal to aim at.

Grant was on hand to deny David Nugent in the 23rd minute, but there was nothing he could do to prevent De Laet from finding the net a minute later.

The right-back made a darting run into the final third and showed composure in slotting home.

Grant was alert once again to keep out Nugent before the break, before Liam Moore smacked the bar with a header.
