Claudio Ranieri hails Leicester City team ethic

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri says that he is happy with the teamwork his side have shown this season.

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has stated that he is pleased with the way his side have been performing as a team.

The Foxes sit top of the Premier League table, a point clear of second-placed Manchester United, following Saturday's 3-0 win at Newcastle United.

"I don't know if it's the best performance [of the season] but I'm very pleased with my players. It's always difficult when there has been an international break to go back," the Italian told Leicester's official website.

"We made just two training sessions before this match but I saw a fantastic performance. Everybody works very hard, are united, they play for each other and I'm very glad when the team play in this way."

Leicester face Man United at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
