Former Leicester City midfielder Muzzy Izzet has stated that the club should appoint ex-Foxes teammate Neil Lennon as their new manager.
The East Midlands outfit are looking for a new boss after sacking Nigel Pearson last week, despite him keeping them in the Premier League last season.
Lennon is currently in charge of Championship side Bolton Wanderers, but Izzet feels that the Northern Irishman's knowledge of Leicester should make him a serious contender to succeed Pearson.
"Big names being touted about for the LCFC job. Why? Give it to Lennon you know he'll put his all into the club just like he did as a player," Izzet wrote on Twitter.
"Don't be fooled into thinking these foreign managers in their suits are the answer."
Former Netherlands coach Guus Hiddink has been linked with the job at the King Power Stadium.
