Leicester City have reportedly decided to appeal Jamie Vardy's sending-off against Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
During the first half of the Premier League fixture at the Britannia Stadium, Vardy was given a straight red card for what the referee deemed to be a two-footed challenge on Mame Biram Diouf.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the Foxes have decided to appeal the decision after replays suggested that the forward may have been knocked off balance as he attempted to win the ball.
If successful, Vardy will be available for Leicester's next fixture on Boxing Day but if the Football Association opts to support the official, the England international will miss his side's matches over the Christmas period.
Despite being reduced to 10 men, Leicester were able to secure a 2-2 draw against the Potters.
