Nigel Pearson does not fear sack at Leicester City

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson insists he does not fear the sack after it was reported that his job could be under threat.

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has insisted that he will continue with his job as normal as speculation suggested his job at the club could be under threat.

Despite being eighth in the Championship table, it has been suggested in the media that Pearson could lose his job, but the former Hull City manager has insisted that the mood is good around the club.

Pearson told BBC Radio Leicester: "I don't think there is anything untoward happening, and if there is I don't know anything about it.

"I am doing my job as I always do my job, and I am enjoying it.

"Nothing surprises me in the media. I just do my job. What other people say, they say. The mood is pretty good."

Leicester travel to Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon.
