Nigel Pearson: 'I don't feel under pressure'

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson insists that he does not feel under pressure at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has put his side's recent lapse in form down to failing to make the most of their chances in front of goal.

The Foxes have fallen to fifth place in the Championship table after winning just one of their last six matches, but Pearson has revealed that he does not feel under pressure to ensure an immediate improvement in their form.

The 49-year-old told BBC East Midlands Today: "I don't feel the pressure at all. People keep trying to ramp things up, it remains the same situation that it was in July and August.

"The biggest single factor is we've not taken enough of our chances, our defensive record remains very good, as a team we've scored a decent amount of goals but we've not taken chances at key moments.

"We've got really good players here and lots of options in attacking positions so I've not doubt that will happen again quickly."

Leicester host Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday afternoon.
