Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has insisted that Watford will not have had time to dwell on missing out on automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Watford lost to Leeds United last weekend, resulting in the Hornets being forced to compete in the playoffs, but Schmeichel believes that they will be tough opponents on Thursday night.
The 26-year-old told Sky Sports News: "There's no time to feel sorry for yourself in football, especially with this short amount of time between the games.
"It must be difficult but they'll pick themselves up and I'm sure there'll be more than up for the game on Thursday. Just like we will."
Both sides will be looking for an advantage ahead of the second leg at Vicarage Road next week.
