Leicester City defender Matthew Mills's career is currently up in the air. The 25-year-old has been told that his services are no long required at the King Power Stadium following a row with his manager Nigel Pearson.
However, the centre-back certainly has something to cushion the blow as rumours are rife that he is once again dating actress Emma Rigby after their recent split.
Rigby will not be a stranger to fans of Hollyoaks, where she played Hannah Ashworth for five years up until 2010.
In 2008 she won Best Actress at the British Soap Awards, while she has also been nominated for Most Popular Actress, Sexiest Female and Best Storyline.
It was during her stint on the Chester-based soap that she met Mills, who was playing for Doncaster Rovers at the time.
The pair split in 2009, citing their hectic careers as the main reason. However, they were soon reunited, only to part ways once again 2010.
However, it appears that Mills and Rigby have patched up their differences, if celebrity gossip columns are to be believed.
Following a brief spell off our screens, Rigby is now appearing in BBC drama Prisoners' Wives.
