Leicester City have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Ryan Bennett on loan for the remainder of the season, with a view to a permanent move in the summer.
The Foxes have been on the lookout for defensive reinforcements to provide further cover for Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu.
Sky Sports News reports that they have come to terms on a loan fee for Bennett, who is now on his way to the Leicester training ground to undergo a medical.
The 29-year-old has made just seven starts for Wolves in the Premier League this season having been a regular in Nuno Espirito Santo's side last term.
Should Bennett complete the switch then it is expected to open the door for Filip Benkovic to leave Leicester on loan.
A number of Championship clubs are understood to be interested in the 22-year-old, but Bristol City are thought to be leading the race.
