West Bromwich Albion have reportedly had their offer for Jamie Vardy turned by Leicester City.
Despite the insistence of Leicester boss Nigel Pearson that the striker was not for sale, recent speculation has suggested that the 28-year-old could depart the King Power Stadium this month.
A number of clubs have been linked with Vardy's services, with Baggies boss Tony Pulis thought to be an admirer.
However, according to Goal.com, a £5m bid for the former Fleetwood Town player has been rejected.
The report added, though, that with West Brom expected to return with an improved offer, the Foxes may accept a proposal worth around £7m.
