Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel has hinted that his son, Kasper Schmeichel, is not entirely happy at Leicester City and could decide to leave the club.
Kasper has been with Leicester since 2011, making more than 300 appearances for the club and playing a key role in their 2015-16 Premier League title-winning campaign.
The 32-year-old has a contract at the King Power Stadium until the summer of 2023, but his father has suggested that Claude Puel's presence as head coach is making the Dane unhappy.
Peter Schmeichel told BeIN Sports: "Leicester City are a really good football club. They've got good players they just don't have the manager who can get the best out of them.
"Once they get everything sorted out - and I leave it to you to interpret what that means - you'll see Leicester maybe in fifth to eighth place where they belong."
Leicester's 3-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday has left them in 12th position in the Premier League table.
