Osasuna score twice in the final few minutes to claim a 2-0 win away to Levante this evening.

Osasuna scored twice in the closing stages to claim an important 2-0 win over Levante in La Liga this evening.

The hosts should have been ahead after 10 minutes as Obafemi Martins went for goal from close range, but Andres Fernandez was on hand to make a fine stop.

Martins was then denied by a fine last-ditch tackle when he look destined to break the deadlock, before Fernandez pulled off another save from close range to frustrate the Nigerian.

Levante came within inches of getting the opener right on the stroke of half time when Ballesteros made the most of a loose ball into the box, squeezing a shot in that came back off the post.

Osasuna themselves hit the woodwork in the second half as a sweeping move resulted in Raoul Loe finding Alejandro Arribas inside the box, but his effort hit the crossbar.

Emiliano Armenteros was the next to come close for the visitors, but his curling effort was tipped wide by Keilor Navas.

Sola then squandered a golden opportunity to win it as he rounded the keeper but missed the ball when looking to slide it into the unguarded net.

His blushes were spared by Masoud just a minute later, however, as the Iranian curled an effort into the top corner.

Sola did eventually get his own name on the scoresheet with the last kick of the match as he picked up Nino's pass before smashing his effort in.
