Rene Girard: 'Lille have nothing to lose at Paris Saint-Germain'

Lille have nothing to lose when they travel to Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday in Ligue 1, according to manager Rene Girard.

Rene Girard is relishing Lille's Ligue 1 match at Paris Saint-Germain this weekend as they look to stay in the title race.

Les Dogues travel to Parc des Princes on Sunday sitting four points behind the league leaders in third place, and Girard is looking forward to the clash.

"We know that the three points are there for the taking," Girard told reporters. "We know that [PSG] is a big team. It is the last match [before the mid-season break], we will have to be ready.

"But I would like to say that there is no cleaver to our throats. There is nothing to lose in these kind of games. It is good that we go there under these conditions."

Lille travel to PSG on Sunday night.
