Preview: Lille vs. AS Monaco

Sports Mole looks ahead to Sunday's Ligue 1 meeting between Lille and AS Monaco.

AS Monaco will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the Ligue 1 season when they travel to Lille on Sunday evening.

Claudio Ranieri's side currently sit joint-top of the table alongside Paris Saint-Germain, after winning seven and drawing four of their 11 games so far.

However, they come into this weekend's match off the back of a surprise 1-0 defeat to Reims in the Coupe de la Ligue.

Lille are two points behind the visitors in the table after winning five of their last six league games, the latest coming at Nantes a week ago.

Rene Girard's side were also knocked out of the Coupe de la Ligue in midweek following a 1-0 defeat to Auxerre.

Ranieri made nine changes for the match against Reims and he is expected to shuffle his squad again, with Joao Moutinho, James Rodriguez and Radamel Falcao returning to the starting XI.

Vincent Enyeama, Simon Kjaer and Florent Balmont are expected to return for Lille after the trio were rested for the clash against Auxerre.
