Lille have moved back into third place in the Ligue 1 table, despite being held to a goalless draw by Lyon at Stade Pierre-Mauroy this evening.
A low-key start to the match was almost lit up in the 26th minute when Nolan Roux unleashed a powerful effort having shrugged off his marker, but his shot was narrowly off target.

The hosts had another opening shortly before the break when Salomon Kalou escaped his marker to latch onto a free kick, but his header was straight at Anthony Lopes.
The keeper was called upon again 15 minutes after the restart when he made a vital interception to deny Roux, coming off his line to tip the ball away from the toes of the striker.
Lyon came close to breaking the deadlock in the 65th minute when Clement Grenier lifted the ball over David Rozehnal before lobbing Vincent Enyeama, only for Pape Souare to be in the right place to clear the effort off the line.
The visitors threatened again eight minutes later when Alexandre Lacazette produced a stunning effort with the outside of his right foot that Enyeama did well to tip over the crossbar.
Lopes was not to be outdone, however, and made a fine save of his own just a minute later to divert Divock Origi's first-time effort onto the crossbar.
Both sides began to search for an opener in the final 15 minutes, with Lacazette drawing another stop from Enyeama before Kalou put an effort just wide moments later.
Neither side could find a winner, however, as the spoils were shared and Lille moved back into third place in the table.
