Familiar foes Liverpool and Real Madrid serve up a repeat of the 2021-22 Champions League final when they renew hostilities at Anfield on Tuesday for the first leg of their last-16 tie.

Jurgen Klopp's crop placed second in Group A behind Italian powerhouses Napoli to set up a reunion with the holders, who beat Celtic, Shakhtar Donetsk and RB Leipzig to first place in Group F.

We say: Liverpool 2-2 Real Madrid

The result of Tuesday's highly-anticipated first leg may very well hinge on how many players Klopp and Ancelotti can recover from the treatment room, but an exhilarating showdown should be on the cards nonetheless.

While Liverpool have regained some momentum at the right time and can expose Real's fitness concerns in midfield, Los Blancos are never to be underestimated in the Champions League and should have Benzema fit and firing in a fearsome attack, so we simply cannot separate the two continental giants and believe that everything will be left to play for at the Bernabeu next month.

Frankfurt vs. Napoli (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Having blitzed their way through the group stage, Napoli return to Champions League action on Tuesday, when they visit last year's Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany.

While the Serie A leaders cruised through to the last 16 by winning their first five matches, their hosts fought back on Group D's final day to snatch second spot. The pair now contest the first leg of a tie which decides who will reach the quarter-finals.

We say: Eintracht Frankfurt 1-1 Napoli

Both sides are full of confidence before this clash, which pits together two Champions League outsiders seeking to challenge Europe's established order. In spite of Napoli's prowess, a close-fought draw could be within Frankfurt's compass if they can get in front: they have not lost when taking the lead in the league this season, winning 11 times and drawing twice.
