Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Porto.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is sure to rotate his resources for Wednesday's Champions League battle with Porto, with the Reds already guaranteed to finish first in Group B.

Caoimhin Kelleher is unlikely to challenge Alisson Becker for a spot in goal, but Neco Williams could displace Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back, assuming he overcomes muscular tightness in time.

Ibrahima Konate will hope to earn a start over Virgil van Dijk, but Nat Phillips could just miss out to Joel Matip, as Klopp will want at least one experienced head in the backline if Kostas Tsimikas holds his spot over Andy Robertson.

Naby Keita and James Milner are both still uncertain - while Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott are both definitely out - so Thiago Alcantara could earn a start alongside Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, unless Tyler Morton is trusted from the off.

Diogo Jota took a significant blow to the knee in the 4-0 win over Arsenal and will need to be assessed for this contest, and the hamstring injury that Roberto Firmino suffered against Atletico Madrid will render him unavailable for this contest.

At least one of Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane is likely to start - with the latter potentially being rested - as Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi earn places in the first XI, as long as the latter recovers from a bout of illness.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Williams, Konate, Matip, Tsimikas; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson, Thiago; Salah, Origi, Minamino
