Steven Gerrard is confident that England will pick up three points against Sweden when the two sides meet in tomorrow's Euro 2012 clash.

The Liverpool midfielder said that the Three Lions will secure victory if they match the performance they put in against France in the group opener.

"I would think the same level of performance against France will be good enough to beat Sweden," The Mirror quotes Gerrard as saying.

"I would say so with all due respect to Sweden who are a good, strong team, but they are not France.

"I think we can be a little bit more bold and a little bit more ambitious and get at the Swedes a little bit more.

"We are confident if we reach the same level of performance, it will be enough for a victory."

Gerrard went on to say that England have learned from their mistakes in the France game, and will be closely marking Zlatan Ibrahimovic during the next game.

Ibrahimovic was reportedly involved in a bust up with strike partner Markus Rosenberg during their Euro 2012 opener against Ukraine.
