Brendan Rodgers has revealed that Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard will be assessed in the next few days ahead of the team's match against Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

The midfielder has missed the last few weeks with a hamstring injury, but is back in training.
