Team News: Much-changed Liverpool XI for FA Cup tie

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp selects a much-changed XI for tonight's FA Cup third-round clash away to Exeter City.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has selected a much-changed XI for tonight's FA Cup third-round clash away to Exeter City.

The Reds have a whole host of injury concerns, particularly in defence, which has forced the German to recall out-of-favour full-back Jose Enrique, while Tiago Ilori starts after returning from a short loan spell at Aston Villa.

Elsewhere, there are places in the team for Ryan Kent, Jerome Sinclair and Joao Carlos Teixeira, while Christian Benteke has been given the armband.

As for the hosts, Jamie Reid and Jordan Moore-Taylor are given starts, while Welsh defender Christian Ribeiro is also in the XI.

Club captain Matt Oakley, 38, however, has only been named among the substitutes for the League Two outfit.

Exeter City: Oleynik; Ribeiro, Moore-Taylor, Woodman, Brown; Tillson, Holmes, Noble, Nichols; Reid, Nicholls
Subs: McAllister, Oakley, Davies, Morrison, Hoskins, Hamon, Grant

Liverpool: Bogdan; Randall, Enrique, Smith, Ilori; Brannagan, Stewart, Kent, Teixeira; Sinclair, Benteke
Subs: Fulton, Lallana, Lucas, Ojo, Maguire, Chirivella, Masterson
