Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has suggested that Monday's Premier League fixture at Swansea City will come too soon for both Jordan Henderson and Alberto Moreno.
Henderson has not made an appearance since Christmas, while Moreno has been absent since sustaining an injury in the Champions League fixture with Spartak Moscow at the start of December.
However, Klopp is positive over the pair's fitness, and has claimed that both players should be ready for the FA Cup tie with West Bromwich Albion at the end of the month.
At his pre-match press conference, the 50-year-old said: "Hendo will today have a clearing session. He was part of training yesterday morning and today is clearing, then he should be OK from tomorrow onwards. It is close, but maybe close and not enough time for Swansea – but [after that] Hendo is back and that's good news.
"Alberto is back in training a few days longer and we have to see. Because it is Alberto, he trains all the time and feels it still a little bit – in one or two movements you can see.
"We will not put any rush on him, but he will be back for sure after Swansea as well – or even maybe Swansea, I'm not sure."
Liverpool currently sit in third place in the Premier League standings, although that could change over the weekend.
