Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Sadio Mane is carrying a minor injury problem, but he is not expected to spend any time on the sidelines.
The Senegal international was absent from first-team training on Thursday afternoon, raising concerns about his fitness ahead of next week's Champions League return fixture against Roma.
There is a chance of Mane being fit again for the visit of Premier League strugglers Stoke City on Saturday, however, should Klopp feel the need to risk his 18-goal forward.
"Of course there is something [wrong]. We will see," he told reporters at his pre-match press conference. "It is not that serious; there is a chance for tomorrow. If we use that chance or not... it is quite early in the day.
"In these times, you always have to use each second and minute, speak to the player, speak to the Doc, speak to the physiotherapists and all that stuff. At the end, you have to make a decision and I will make a decision."
Meanwhile, Roma will be without midfielder Diego Perotti - among the scorers at Anfield in Liverpool's 5-2 first-leg win - for Wednesday's match in the Italian capital.
