Adam Lallana: 'Liverpool ready to attack'

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana, who is currently on the sidelines with a thigh problem, insists that his team are ready to "attack" the new season.

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has insisted that his team are ready to "attack" the new season.

Lallana is expected to miss at least the next two months with a thigh injury that he sustained during pre-season.

The England international has admitted that he is "gutted" to be missing the start of the new Premier League campaign, but has backed Liverpool to hit the ground running when they face Watford next weekend.

Liverpool's first two Premier League matches are away to Watford and at home to Crystal Palace, before welcoming Arsenal and visiting Manchester City in their next two.
