Liverpool assistant boss Colin Pascoe has confirmed that captain Steven Gerrard will undergo a scan this morning on a hamstring injury.
The 34-year-old midfielder was substituted in the second half of the Reds' 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Tuesday night.
Overnight, reports emerged claiming that Gerrard is expected to be sidelined for three weeks, but the extent of the ex-England skipper's injury is not yet known.
Pascoe also claimed in this morning's press conference that the club are monitoring Raheem Sterling's fitness after the 20-year-old missed Tuesday's fixture with a knock.
