Liverpool striker Divock Origi has declared that he could return from injury in time to feature again for the Reds this season.
The 21-year-old suffered ankle ligament damage in last month's Merseyside derby against Everton and was initially expected to be out for six weeks, all but ruling him out for the rest of the season.
Although there is only 11 days until the end of the Premier League season, Origi could feature again in the Europa League final should Liverpool overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit when they host Villarreal tomorrow night.
When asked if he could play again for his club this term, Origi told the club website: "Of course, I believe in it.
"My goal is to come back as soon as possible and I just want to go back on the pitch. I think it's possible, but you never know."
Origi had become Jurgen Klopp's first-choice frontman before the injury, scoring five goals in five matches.
