Gomez suffered a first-half hamstring injury in the 5-0 demolition of West Ham United in their final game of 2024, and Slot has since confirmed that the defender is set to be sidelined for a fair amount of time.

Possible return date: January 8 (vs. Tottenham)
While Slot was able to welcome Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate back from injury at the weekend, he was without Szoboszlai, who was struck down with illness and was not part of the squad, but a return is not expected to be far away.
