Life after Russell Martin will begin for Southampton when they welcome Liverpool to St Mary's in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup on Wednesday.
Martin was sacked after the 5-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, and interim boss Simon Rusk now has the unenviable task of trying to overcome the Premier League leaders and EFL Cup holders.
