Former Liverpool winger Ryan Babel has revealed that he remains a fan of the club, despite leaving Anfield over four years ago.
The Dutchman, who left in January 2011, currently plies his trade for Kasimpasa, in Turkey, but he stated that he still retains an affinity with the Reds.
He told the club's official website: "Most of the games I try to follow, but I am obviously also playing myself, so sometimes my games are at the same time as Liverpool's, so I'll watch the highlights.
"Liverpool is still definitely a part of me. Since I left, I've remained a big fan. I still have a house in Liverpool and some friends there. They are a part of me and have been a part of my life in my personal development. It was a good experience."
Babel was brought to Liverpool from Ajax by Rafael Benitez for around £11m in the summer of 2007.
