Rafael Benitez holds out for Premier League club

Benitez targets Premier League return

Former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has revealed that he has had job offers from England and his “priority” is to return to the Premier League.

The Spaniard has not worked for a football club since being sacked from Italian side Inter Milan last year.

Despite having stints in Europe, the 51-year-old has his sights set on a managerial comeback in the English league.

"I have had offers in Spain and England as well as other teams but I have always said my priority is the Premier League,” talkSPORT quotes Benitez as saying.

"There's several reasons why - the respect, the way of working and my family is settled England.

"I am young and want to continue to lead top-level teams. I am a professional coach and my goal is to continue training and to win titles."

Bentiez won the Champions League, FA Cup and Community Shield during his time at Liverpool until he was let go from his post in 2007.
