Kenny Dalglish has praised Luis Suarez for his performance during Liverpool's 2-0 win over Aston Villa yesterday.
The Uruguayan had an impressive game and hit the woodwork twice, despite the FA's decision on alleged racist comments made by the player towards Manchester United's Patrice Evra being due this week.
"Suarez has been sat in a hotel room for three days," Dalglish said.
"He has only trained on Tuesday and Friday and yet he put in a performance like that. It speaks volumes for the man."
Dalglish refused to comment on the racism allegations, saying that club had been "respectful" throughout the FA's investigation.
"We can't comment on that. It's not my choice. We'd love to comment," he said.
"We wouldn't like to prejudice anything. We've been respectful and I don't think at this stage we'd want to be accused of losing that respect."
Liverpool are currently sixth in the Premier League with 29 points from 16 games.
