Didier Deschamps has moved to calm speculation linking him with the managerial vacancy at Liverpool by committing his future to Marseille.
Reports had claimed that the 43-year-old could be forced out of the Stade Veledrome this summer following the team's failure to win the Ligue 1 title last season.
However, Deschamps has revealed that he expects to be in charge of the French club when the new campaign gets underway.
"It is expected that I will be [at Marseille] next season," he told French journalists.
"When it goes badly, there is need to recharge. I will leave on vacation but it is expected that I be [at Marseille] for July 2."
Deschamps took charge of Marseille in 2009.
