Liverpool's Jose Enrique has said that Reds striker Andy Carroll is a great footballer, despite his lack of goals.
Carroll, who arrived at Anfield from Newcastle for £35m a season ago, has scored four goals in 23 appearances during his time with the club after scoring eight in his final 19 games at the Sports Direct Arena.
"Andy is a great player," said Enrique. "Nobody pays £35m for a player for nothing and Andy is value. When he starts to score one goal, he will score many goals.
"It is a different style of play for him to get used to here. We have Luis Suarez, Dirk Kuyt, Craig Bellamy – all different. For the style of English football, Andy is very important.
"I think we have an amazing team. I know it will come right soon."
Meanwhile, next on the schedule for Enrique and Carroll is former club Newcastle.
