Liverpool defender Jose Enrique reveals that he is helping new signings Luis Albeto and Iago Aspas settle into life at Anfield.

Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has revealed that he has taken Spanish compatriots Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas under his wing at Anfield.

Aspas and Alberto arrived from Celta Vigo and Sevilla respectively this summer, and Enrique has said that he is trying to help the duo settle into life as quickly as possible at Anfield.

"From the start they have been with me all the time and asking me things, which is normal," Enrique told the club's official website.

"I did it before with other players. I told them that if they need me for anything they have me here.

"I know at the start and when you change country, it's difficult when you don't know the language. Hopefully they will do well here."

Forward Aspas arrived for a fee of around £7.7m, while Alberto, who is an attacking midfielder, joined for a reported £6.8m.
