Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has hailed January signing Philippe Coutinho as a player capable of "magical brilliance".
The 20-year-old Brazilian midfielder joined the Reds for Inter Milan at the start of the year for £8.5m.
"He's got moments of magical brilliance," Gerrard told Sky Sports News.
"I think you'll see the best of him next season when he gets a full pre-season under his belt and gets used to the speed of the game."
Coutinho has scored one goal and provided two assists in four games for Liverpool so far this season.
