Henderson, Lallana 'to face no FA punishment'

Liverpool duo Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana have reportedly avoided any punishment from the Football Association over an alleged trip to a strip club while on England duty.

According to The Sun, the pair visited the 'For Your Eyes Only' club on Saturday night after being given a night off by interim boss Gareth Southgate.

However, it has been suggested by BBC Sport that both players did not break any FA rules or guidelines at the weekend and therefore will not face any action.

The alleged incident took place on the same evening that Three Lions captain Wayne Rooney was pictured at a wedding reception until 5am, behaviour which Rooney apologised for three days later.

It has been said that Rooney was neither told to apologise by Southgate, nor did he ignore any instructions given by the manager.
